Every sport we offer requires equipment. For some sports, equipment is provided on-site. For others, you will need to bring your own or rent some from JAM.
Do I pay for my equipment?
For a TEAM, we have plenty of equipment here for you to borrow! We've tried to make it as easy for you as possible. You pay a deposit and then you get to borrow the equipment. Use it for as long as you want. When you bring it back, we'll give you the deposit back. Easy!
As an INDIVIDUAL, most of the necessary equipment (if any) is provided as part of your registration fee. However, you will still need to pick up this equipment from us. Only ONE person on the team has to pick up equipment, please coordinate with your team captain. Please check the table below for more details.
Please check out the table below to find out if you need to rent equipment, bring your own, or if the equipment is provided on-site. For equipment you need to rent from JAM, please note that it is your team's responsibility to pick it up before your first game. Please communicate with your teammates to make sure this is covered.
How do I get (or bring back) my equipment?
There are a couple of ways to retrieve and return equipment for this season. If you are unable to make the options below, please reach out to us directly.
1. Downtown Equipment Night: We will host Downtown Equipment Pick-Up Nights for the 2025 Spring Season at Lamport Stadium (1155 King Street West). The events will be held on Thursday, April 10th, and Tuesday, April 15th, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Be sure to look out for the JAM vehicle and staff just by the front entrance to the stadium on the west side. Please RSVP and email equipment@jamsports.com to reserve any equipment you would like to pick up or drop off and indicate which night you will be coming by!
2. Our Office: We are located at 245 Eglinton Avenue East, Suite 420. Office hours to pick up equipment are Tuesday through Thursday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
3. After-Hours Pick-Up: We are also hosting after hours pick-up in the head office on the following days: Thursday April 10th, and Tuesday April 15th, from 5 PM -7 PM. Please RSVP to equipment@jamsports.com.

Want to purchase?
If you are looking to purchase any equipment to keep for future seasons or for personal use, we do sell some equipment. Please email equipment@jamsports.com or give us a call for more information.
For outdoor softball, you will need to bring your own bat and gloves. Three softballs are included in your team fee. If you wish to purchase additional softballs, we sell them for $7.50 each (plus HST).
For dodgeball, your team registration includes 2 dodgeballs! Take good care of them, though. If they need to be replaced, we sell them for $45 each (plus HST).
Do we need jerseys/uniforms?
Basketball - Officiated
You are required to wear a jersey with a number on the front and the back in order to play in our Mixed, Men's, and Women's Officiated Basketball leagues. We sell them for $45.00 (plus HST) if your team needs some. If you signed up as an individual, your registration includes a jersey which will be dropped off to you at your first game.
Soccer - Ballsports/Downsview Officiated
You are required to wear a jersey with a number on the back to play in our Officiated Soccer leagues at Ballsports. If you signed up as an individual, your registration includes a jersey, and it will be dropped off to you at your first game.
